The Concept
We all have ideas & questions during our learning process. The confusion in this process is a natural and healthy feeling that moves us into progress. So by sharing ideas our dance will improve faster and better surrounded by a group of people with the same passion.
Based on these needs, the “München Tango Lab” team decided to offer a space for open minds to practice with each other all kinds of tango concepts. Meet us every Wednesday from 20:00 to 22:30, at Kirchenstraße 89B, 81675 Munich. Price: 6 Euros (2 Euros for students and non workers) Feel free to come without a partner and practice with us and with each other! About the music: We will give special attention to a particular orchestra every week. The volume will be low enough to maintain a practice atmosphere. Join us in a new “Lab”, with new tools and an open mind that will help us all to dance better and enjoy more the tango dance we love! Guidelines:This Practica is a social and relax place where people from different levels meet to socialize and practice Tango.
Is a place to brainstorm where you should practice what you have learned and share ideas and opinions with others, not for teaching steps. The invitation doesn't have to be necessarily by "cabeceo" and only from the leader, but always in a friendly and respectful way. All comments must be made and asked in a friendly and respectful way with the intention of helping yourself and the other person. The dance floor has only one orientation but no main lines of dance, you should be aware of the space around you in all directions and keep it as small as possible. Feel free to exchange roles and partner as much as you want to test your knowledge with different leaders and followers. Questions and testing should be made during the dance with your partner at the time and in the moment you feel the need to do it, always in a non disturbing way for others. Feel free to start or finish the exercise in the middle of the music, there will be no cortinas and the volume will be low enough to enable conversations. Please use the LAB team for solutions and questions you may have during the dance, we are there to help. |
